For Chutney -
- Fresh coconut pieces -1 cup
- Roasted Chana dal - 1/2 cup
- Chopped green coriander leaves - 1/4 cup
- Green chilly -2
- Garlic - 4 to 5 cloves
- Curd- 2 tbsp
- Salt to taste
For Tadka -
- Oil- 1 tsp
- Mustard seeds- 1/2 tsp
- Chana Dal- 1/2 tsp
- Urad dal- 1/2 tsp
- Dry red chilly - 1
- Fresh Curry leaves - 4 to 5
Method-
- In a grinder jar put coconut , chana dal, coriander leaves, green chilly,garlic and salt.
- Grind it by adding water to a fine paste.
- Add curd and grind for 10 seconds.
- Transfer the chutney into serving bowl.
- In a tadka pan heat oil, add mustard seeds, chana and urad dal, red chiily and curry leaves.
- Cook it for half minute.
- Tadka is ready. turn off the flame.
- Pour the tadka over prepared chutney.
- Your delicious coconut chutney is ready.
