Coconut Chutney Recipe ( for Idly/ Dosa/ Vada/ Uttapam) / How to Make Coconut Chutney

Coconut Chutney is very versatile recipe which you can serve along with Idly, Dosa , Vada , Dal Vada, Uttapam , Appe and many more.

It is a quick and extremely delicious chutney which takes very less time to prepare.



Preparation Time :- 15 minutes

Servings :- 6 to 8

Ingredients:-

For Chutney -

  • Fresh coconut pieces -1 cup
  • Roasted Chana dal - 1/2 cup
  • Chopped green coriander leaves - 1/4 cup
  • Green chilly -2
  • Garlic - 4 to 5 cloves
  • Curd- 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
For Tadka -

  • Oil- 1 tsp
  • Mustard seeds- 1/2 tsp
  • Chana Dal- 1/2 tsp
  • Urad dal- 1/2 tsp
  • Dry red chilly - 1
  • Fresh Curry leaves - 4 to 5


Method-


  • In a grinder jar put coconut , chana dal, coriander leaves, green chilly,garlic and salt.
  • Grind it by adding water to a fine paste.
  • Add curd and grind for 10 seconds.
  • Transfer the chutney into serving bowl.
  • In a tadka pan heat oil, add mustard seeds, chana and urad dal, red chiily and curry leaves.
  • Cook it for half minute.
  • Tadka is ready. turn off the flame.
  • Pour the tadka over prepared chutney.
  • Your delicious coconut chutney is ready.

Instant Suji Appe - Indian Breakfast Recipe / How to make vegetable Appe / Appam /

Vegetable Appe is a very quick and instant breakfast or snack recipe which takes very less time to prepare and tastes yum.
It is very healthy recipe as loaded with vegetables and needs very less oil to prepare.




Preparation Time :- 30 minutes
Servings :- 4

Ingredients:-


  • Semolina or Suji - 1 cup
  • Fresh Curd:- 1/2 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Onion - 2 tbsp chopped
  • Carrot- 2 tbsp chopped
  • Capsicum- 2 tbsp chopped
  • chilly flakes- 1 tsp
  • Chaat masala - 1 tsp
  • coriander leaves- 2 tbsp chopped
  • Baking soda - 1/4 tsp
  • Oil- 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds- 1/2 tsp
  • Mustard seeds- 1/2 tsp

Method:-






  • In a bowl take suji , curd and salt and by adding water make a batter.
  • Cover it and give it rest for 10 minutes.
  • After 10 minutes mix and add onion, carrot ,capsicum, chilly flakes and chaat masala and mix well.
  • In a tadka pan heat oil ,cumin seeds and mustard seeds .
  • When seeds splutter pour the tadka over the prepared mixture.
  • Mix well, add coriander leaves and water to adjust the consistency of the batter.
  • Batter should not be too much thick or thin , it should be of dripping consistency.
  • Add baking soda.
  • Mix well
  • Heat the Appe pan and grease with oil.
  • Pour the batter into each cavity .
  • Cover with lid and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Flip the side and cook.
  • It takes 7 to 8 minutes to cook one batch of appe.
  • Take out on plate.
  • Your healthy and delicious appe is ready.
  • Serve hot with chutney or sauce.

Authentic Punjabi Chole Masala Recipe / How to make Punjabi Chole



Well In this I have tried to make the best authentic Punjabi Chole Masala which usually served with Bhature in a very easy way.

 Must try Chole recipe if you love to eat street side Chole Bhature.


Preparation Time :- 60 minutes
Servings :- 6 to 8

Ingredients:-

  • Kabuli chana - 250 grams soaked overnight
  • Tea- 2 tsp
  • Cinnamon - 1 inch
  • Black cardamom-2
  • Green cardamom-4
  • cloves- 4
  • Javitri - 2-3
  • Onion -3 
  • Tomatoes -3 
  • garlic - 10 -12
  • ginger- 1 1/2 inch
  • chole masala- 2 tsp
  • Coriander powder- 1 tsp
  • Red chilly powder- 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp
  • Anardana powder- 1 tsp
  • Garam masala Powder- 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil- 3 tbsp
  • For Tadka:-
  • Ghee - 1 tbsp
  • Asafoetida - 1/4 tsp
  • Green Chilly - 2 
  • Ginger - 1 inch cut into juliens

Method:-




  • First make a potli of tea ,cinamon, cardamoms ,cloves and javitri.
  • In a pressure cooker add soaked kabuli chana , spice potli, salt and 3 cups of water.
  • Cook the chana till 5 whistles.
  • After 5 whistles, turn off the flame and let the pressure come down naturally.
  • In a pan heat oil, add cumin seeds, and chopped onion and cook the onion till golden brown.
  • now add tomato ginger garlic paste, salt and dry spices except garam masala.
  • Cook the masalas on medium flame till oil starts oozing out.
  • Add Boiled chana and its water , mix well .
  • Cover the lid and cook for 8 to 10 minutes over medium flame.
  • Open the lid and mix and add garam masala powder and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Add green coriander leaves and mix well.
  • Turn off the flame and transfer it into serving bowl.
  • In a tadka pan add ghee , hing , chilly and ginger cook for a minute and pour the tadka over chole.
  • Your yummy Chole is ready to serve.

Nutritious Mix Veg Recipe | How to Make Mix Veg Indian Style / Easy Mix Veg Recipe by Cook with Seema

Mix veg is a very nutritious sabji inch which many veggies are cooked together.
Its very Healthy and colourful Sabji.
In this recipe I have used broccoli, carrot, capsicum. peas and potatoes . You can add another vegetables too.




Preparation Time:-40 minutes
Servings :-4 to 5
Ingredients:-
Broccoli - 1 small (250) grams
Capsicum -2 small
Carrot - 1 cup
Peas- 1 cup
Potato - 2 medium size
Onion - 2 medium size
Tomato - 2 medium size
Garlic - 8 -10 cloves chopped,
Ginger- 1 inch chopped
green chilly - 1 chopped
Fresh coriander leaves- 2 tbsp chopped
Cumin seeds- 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Kashmiri red chilly powder- 1 tsp
Salt - to taste
Garam masala powder- 1/2 tsp
Oil - 2 tbsp
Method:-
Heat a pan with 2 tbsp of oil.
Add cumin seeds and let it splutter, add chopped garlic and green chilly.
Now add chopped onion and cook for 2 minutes.
Now add chopped potatoes and cook for another 2 minutes.
Now add carrot and peas and fry another 2 minutes.
Add ginger and tomatoes, salt, turmeric powder, coriander powder,chilly powder , mix well cover and cook for 5 minutes on medium flame.
Open the lid and give it a mix.
After 5 minutes tomatoes becomes soft so mash it with spatula.
Now add blanched broccoli and capsicum.
Mix well, cover and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
After 4 minutes open the lid mix and add garam masala powder and coriander leaves.
Mix, cover and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes.
After 3 minutes open the lid and cook for another 2 minutes in open.
Your yummy mix veg is ready.
Serve hot with roti, puri or paratha.
