Street Style Pav Bhaji / How to Make Pav Bhaji / Easy Pav Bhaji Recipe

Pav Bhaji is the most popular street food of Mumbai. Here I am sharing easy and quick method of making pavbhaji at home.




Preparation Time:- 40 minutes
Servings :- 4- 5
Ingredients:-


  • Pav - 2 packets
  • Potato - 4 medium sized 
  • Carrot - 1 big or 2 small
  • Peas - 1/2 cup
  • Capsicum- 1/2 finely chopped
  • Onion -2 medium size finely chopped
  • Tomato - 3 medium size finely chopped
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • Green coriander - 2 tablespoon finely chopped
  • Butter - 50 grams 
  • Oil -1 tablespoon
  • Pavbhaji masala - 2 teaspoon
  • Haldi powder - 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder - 1tsp
  • Kashmiri red chilly powder - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt 1 1/2 tsp or according to taste
  • Green chilly - 1 chopped
  • Cumin seed - 1 tsp


Method:- 


  • First boil potato , carrot and peas.
  • In a hot pan add oil and 2 tablespoon butter add cumin seeds and let it splutter.
  • Add ginger garlic paste and cook for a minute.
  • Add onion and fry for 2 minutes. 
  • Add capsicum and fry for a minute.
  • Add tomatoes, salt, turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chilly powder and pavbhaji masala and mix well.
  • Cover with lid for 4- 5 minutes.
  • After 5 minutes remove the lid give it a good mix and add boiled vegetables and with the help of masher start mashing the vegetables.
  • Add vegetable stalk and mash again 
  • Add fresh coriander and rest of butter and cook it for another 2 minutes by covering the lid.
  • After 2 minutes turn off the flame.
  • Your yummy bhaji is ready.
  • Now heat a tava add littke butter and sprinkle some pav bhaji masala and toast the pav from both sides.
  • Serve the hot pav with bhaji.

Fruit Custard with Sweet Bread / How to make Custard / Easy Desert Recipe / Fruit Custard Recipe

When it comes to desert than nothing can be more easy than fruit custard recipe. this recipe is loved by all age groups.

In this recipe I have used sweet bread which is easily available. Instead of sweet bread you can also use vanilla cake slices.

in this recipe you can use any fruit according to your choice and availability. here i am using mango, banana and pomegranate.





Preparation time :- 30 minutes
Servings:- 4

Ingredients:-

  • Full Cream Milk - 500ml
  • Sweet bread - 2 slices
  • Vanilla Custard powder - 2 tablespoon
  • Sugar - 4 tablespoon
  • Mango 1/2 cup (cut into small pieces)
  • Banana -1 (cut into small pieces)
  • Pomegranate - 1/2 cup
  • Cashew nut - 10 to 12 pieces
  • Raisins- 12 to 15 pieces


Method:-







  • First in a pan take the milk and keep it  to boil.
  • When milk become slight hot (lukewarm) take out 4-5 tablespoon of it and make a paste with custard powder.
  • Boil the milk for 4 to 5 minutes and start adding custard and milk batter into it by adding single spoon at a time and mix well.
  • Keep the flame low and mix continuously till milk become semi thick or rabri consistency.
  • Turn off the flame and let it cool down.
  • Once the custard cools down start assembling custard and fruits.
  • Cut the bread slices into small pieces and place it on the bottom of a bowl then pour  half custard over it.
  • Now put the fruit pieces over the custard and again repeat the process by placing bread slices over it.
  • Put the fruit pieces, cover it with custard.
  • Decorate it with dry fruits.
  • Your yummy fruit custard with sweet bread is ready to serve.

Easy and Tasty Lauki Kofta Recipe/ How to make Lauki Kofta / Easy Recipe

Lauki kofta is a very delicious Indian curry recipe. For making really soft kofta , don't add too much besan to kofta batter.





Preparation  Time :- 50 minutes
Servings:- 6-8
Ingredients:-
For kofta:-

Lauki - 400 grams (grated)
besan or gram flour - 100 grams
ginger - 1 inch (finely chopped)
green chilly - 1 (finely chopped)
salt - according to taste
turmeric powder - 1 1/2 tsp
carom seeds - 1/2 tsp
oil - for frying

For Curry:-


  • Onion - 2 medium size
  • Tomato - 3 medium size 
  • Ginger  - 2 inch long
  • Garlic - 10 -12 cloves
  • Green coriander leaves - 2 tablespoon (finely chopped)
  • Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder - 1 tsp
  • Kashmiri red chilly powder - 1 tsp
  • Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Salt - 1 tsp or according to taste
  • Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Oil - 3 tablespoon


Method:-








  • First in a bowl mix grated lauki, 3/4 th of besan, ginger, green chilly and carom seeds.
  • Add the rest of besan and form a soft dough like consistency.
  • Heat oil in a pan and place kofta balls in it and fry till nicely golden.
  • Now in another pan heat 3 tbsp of oil and add cumin seeds.
  • Let it splutter and add onion, garlic and ginger paste.
  • Fry till golden in colour.
  • Add tomato puree, salt , coriander powder, turmeric powder, chilly powder, cumin and black pepper powder. 
  • Mix well and fry the masalas till oil starts separating from the corners.
  • Add water , cover with lid and let the gravy cook for 4 to 5 minutes.
  • After 5 minutes remove the lid, give it a mix and place the fried kofta inside the ravy.
  • Sprinkle green coriander leaves and garam masala powder and mix well.
  • Cover the kofta curry for 2 minites.
  • Turn off the flame.
  • Your yummy kofta curry is ready to serve.

Healthy Indian Style Pasta / Easy Pasta Recipe / How to make Pasta

All loves cheesy pasta so today I am sharing my easy pasta recipe. Here I am using whole wheat pasta, you can take any variant according to your choice.





Preparation Time- 30 minutes
Servings:- 2
Ingredients:-

  • Whole wheat pasta- 1 cup or 150 grams
  • Finely chopped onion- 2 tablespoon
  • Finely chopped capsicum- 2 tablespoon
  • Finely chopped tomato - 2 tablespoon
  • Tomato puree - 1/2 cup
  • Processed cheese- 3/4 cup (grated)
  • Vegetable oil- 3 tablespoon
  • Chilly flakes
  • Mixed herbs
  • Black pepper powder
  • Salt


Method:-





  • In a large pan boil pasta for 12 to 15 minutes or until it cook.
  • Strain and keep it aside.
  • Now heat a pan over medium flame.
  • Add oil and garlic and saute it for 1/2 a minute.
  • Add onion and cook till translucent.
  • Add capsicum and tomato and fry it for 2 minutes.
  • Now add tomato puree, salt, chilly flakes, pepper mixed herbs and mix well.
  • Cook it for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Now add boiled pasta and mix well.
  • Cook for 1 to 2 minutes.
  • Add grated cheese and mix well.
  • Cook for a minute or till cheese melts.
  • Turn off the flame.
  • You yummy pasta is ready to serve.
