Fruit Custard with Sweet Bread / How to make Custard / Easy Desert Recipe / Fruit Custard Recipe

When it comes to desert than nothing can be more easy than fruit custard recipe. this recipe is loved by all age groups.

In this recipe I have used sweet bread which is easily available. Instead of sweet bread you can also use vanilla cake slices.

in this recipe you can use any fruit according to your choice and availability. here i am using mango, banana and pomegranate.





Preparation time :- 30 minutes
Servings:- 4

Ingredients:-

  • Full Cream Milk - 500ml
  • Sweet bread - 2 slices
  • Vanilla Custard powder - 2 tablespoon
  • Sugar - 4 tablespoon
  • Mango 1/2 cup (cut into small pieces)
  • Banana -1 (cut into small pieces)
  • Pomegranate - 1/2 cup
  • Cashew nut - 10 to 12 pieces
  • Raisins- 12 to 15 pieces


Method:-







  • First in a pan take the milk and keep it  to boil.
  • When milk become slight hot (lukewarm) take out 4-5 tablespoon of it and make a paste with custard powder.
  • Boil the milk for 4 to 5 minutes and start adding custard and milk batter into it by adding single spoon at a time and mix well.
  • Keep the flame low and mix continuously till milk become semi thick or rabri consistency.
  • Turn off the flame and let it cool down.
  • Once the custard cools down start assembling custard and fruits.
  • Cut the bread slices into small pieces and place it on the bottom of a bowl then pour  half custard over it.
  • Now put the fruit pieces over the custard and again repeat the process by placing bread slices over it.
  • Put the fruit pieces, cover it with custard.
  • Decorate it with dry fruits.
  • Your yummy fruit custard with sweet bread is ready to serve.
