Shahi Tukda Recipe/ Double Ka Meetha/ Shahi Tukda Recipe in Hindi



Sharing very easy and delicious recipe of Shahi Tukda . In some region people call it Double ka Meetha too, its a traditional sweet recipe specially prepared during festivals.
 In this recipe fried bread slices first dip in sugar syrup and then coated with creamy rubdi. Very rich in taste and flavour this easy sweet recipe loved by all.


Preparation Time:-60 minutes
Sevings:-6

Ingredients:-
  • Bread slice-6
  • Milk- 2 cups 
  • Sugar- 1 cup and 4 tbsp
  • Cardamom powder-1/2 tsp
  • Ghee- 100 grams
  • Chopped dryfruits- 2 tbsp

Method:- 


  • In a pan add 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water and make it boil.
  • Now add 1/4 tsp cardamom powder and cook for 5 more minutes on medium flame .
  • Chashini is ready, keep it aside.
  • In another pan take milk and start reducing, when it reduces to half add 4 tbsp sugar , dry fruits and 1/4 tsp cardamom powder.
  • Further reduce it more like the rabdi consistency,
  • Turn off the flame and keep aside.
  • Now take bread slices and trim its edges.
  • Cut to into triangles (watch video)
  • Now take ghee in a pan and fry all the bread triangles till golden brown.
  • Fry all bread pieces like this.
  • Now dip the bread slices in sugar syrup for 8 to 10 seconds , take it out and keep it on a plate.
  • Arrange all bread slices on plate and pour the rabdi over it.
  • Garnish with chopped pistachio.
  • Shahi Tukda is ready, Enjoy!!!

Suji Cake in Pressure Cooker without Mould / How to Make Eggless Suji Cake in Cooker / Suji Cake Recipe

Suji Cake in Direct Pressure Cooker , yes you heard right today I am going to share very easy eggless suji cake without oven and without mould direct in pressure cooker.
This is a very easy and no fail recipe of super delicious suji cake which can be serve along with evening tea or as snack for kids.


Preparation Time :-1 hour 20 minutes
Servings- 6

Ingredients:-
  • Suji - 1 and 1/2 cup
  • Powdered sugar- 3/4 cup
  • Milk- 3/4 +1/2 cup
  • Oil- 1/4 cup
  • Baking powder- 1 tsp
  • Baking Soda- 1/2 tsp
  • Chopped dryfruits -2 tbsp
  • Tutti frutti- 2 tbsp
  • Vanilla essence- 1 tsp
  • Lemom juice - 2 tsp


Method:-





  • In a bowl add suji,sugar and milk and make a batter.
  • Cover and keep it for rest for 15 to 20 minutes.
  • After 15 minutes open the lid ,mix and add oil,baking powder,soda ,vanilla essence and mix.
  • Now add dryfruits and tutti frutti mix and add lemon juice.
  • After adding lemon juice mix the batter in one direction only.
  • Now take  a pressure cooker and  place butter paper and pour the prepared batter, tap the cooker to release air bubbles.
  • Heat a heavy bottomed tava and place the cooker  on hot tava .
  • Remove the rubber and whistle from the lid and place the lid on cooker.
  • Bake it for 45 to 50 minutes on medium flame by covering the lid.
  • Check in between.
  • After 50 minutes check by inserting a knife if it comes clean it means cake is done.
  •  Let it cool ,cut and Serve.

Jackfruit / Kathal ki Sabji | How to make Kathal ki Sabji


Jackfruit or Kathal ki Sabji is a very famous sabji among vegetarians, it tastes very similar to non veg due to its earthy flavour and hard texture.
I have made this sabji in very easy manner using simple ingredients but it tastes extremely delicious.





Preparation Time:- 60 minutes
Servings:-4
Ingredients:-

  • Kathal- 400 gms
  • Onion - 3
  • Tomato- 1
  • Ginger- 1 inch
  • Garlic- 8 to 10
  • Bay leaf-1
  • Cinnamon stick- 1 inch
  • Cloves- 4
  • Green cardamom- 2
  • Coriander powder- 1 tsp
  • Red chilly powder- 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp
  • Kashmiri red chilly powder- 1 tsp
  • Garam masala powder- 1/4 tsp
  • Green coriander leaves- 2 tbsp
  • Green chilly - 2
  • Oil - 4 tbsp
  • Cumin seeds- 1 tsp
  • Hing- 1 pinch


Method:-
  • In a pan add 2 tbsp of oil once hot add jackfruit pieces and fry till light golden.
  • Take it out and keep aside.
  • In the same pan add 2 tbsp of oil , and whole garam masalas, cumin seeds and a pinch of hing.
  • Now add chopped onion and fry till golden brown.
  • Now add dry spices and fry for 1/2 minute on low flame.
  • Add tomato, ginger and garlic paste and fry till oil starts ooze out.
  • Now add jackfruit pieces , fry for 2 - 3 minutes and add 1 and half glass of water, cover it and cook for 25 minutes on medium flame or till jackfruit softens.
  • After 25 minutes remove the lid and mix and add garam masala, green coriander and green chilly.
  • Mix and cover and cook for another 3 to 4 minutes.
  • After 4 minutes remove the lid ,mix and your delicious Jackfruit Sabji is ready to serve.
  • Serve hot with roti , paratha or rice.

Meethi Mathri / Sweet Mathri / How to Make Meethi Mathri Recipe

Meethi Mathri is Indian Evening Snack recipe which you can also called fried Indian cookies.

The best part of this recipe is that once prepared you can store it and consume till 3 to 4 weeks.




Preparation TIme - 60 minutes
Servings -6 to 8
Ingredients:-

  • Maida- 1 cup
  • Suji-1/3 cup
  • Ghee- 1/4 cup
  • Milk -1/4 cup
  • Sugar- 1/2 cup
  • Coconut powder- 2 tbsp
  • Sessame seeds- 1 tbsp
  • Cardamom powder- 1/2 tsp
  • Oil - for frying


Method:-

  • In a bowl mix milk and sugar , once sugar dissolves keep it aside.
  • In another bowl take maida, suji and ghee and mix nicely by rubbing with hands.
  • Now add coconut powder and sessane seeds and cardamom powder and mix well.
  • Now with the help of milk and sugar mixture knead  soft dough by adding little at a time.
  • Cover and give it rest for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • After 15 minutes knead the dough for 1 minute.
  • Take a small portion of dough and roll it into 1/2 inch thick sheet , cut the sheet with cookie cutter to make mathris of your choice of shape and size.
  • Prepare all the mathris like this.
  • Heat oil and place mathris into the oil one by one.
  •  Fry all the mathris till light golden by flipping sides.
  • Take out from pan and put it on paper towel.
  • Fry all the mathris like this.
  • Your yummy snack is ready.
  • Cool it down and store in an air tight container.
  • Consume till 3 to 4 weeks.
