Semolina Laddo / Suji Laddo/ Rava Laddo / How to make Rava Laddo

As the Festive season begins I thought to share some easy and quick sweet recipes. you can make this Suji dryfruit Laddo as prasad too.






Preparation Time:- 20 minutes
Servings :- 4 - 6

Ingredients :-


  • Semolina or Suji - 1 cup or 200 grams
  • Powdered sugar - 3/4 cup or 150 grams
  • Cashew nuts - 10 - 15
  • Raisins - 20 -25
  • Cardamom powder- 1 tsp
  • Warm milk - 4 tbsp
  • Desi ghee - 3 tbsp
  • Dessicated coconut powder - 50 grams


Method:-




  • In a pan add 1 tsp of ghee and fry cashew till light golden.
  • Take it out in a bowl and in the same pan fry raisins.
  • Now in the same pan add another tablespoon of ghee and roast suji over medium low flame till slight golden.
  • Now add powdered sugar and mix it properly.
  • turn off the flame.
  • Take out suji in a big bowl, let it cool slightly.
  • Now add fried dry fruits and cardamom powder and mix well.
  • Add 2 tbsp of warm milk and mix well, add another 2 spoon of milk and mix well.
  • Take out the little mixture and shape it into a laddo by pressing between palms.
  • Roll this laddo in coconut powder so that it cover with coconut powder.
  • Your yummy suji laddo is ready to eat.

Allu Masala Puri / Easy Lunchbox Recipe / How to make Allu Masala Puri

Allu Masala Puri recipe is easy and quick recipe which you can make for kids lunchbox or your Sunday breakfast or snack.

Preparation time :- 30 minutes
Servings :- 4
Ingredients:-


  • Potato - 2 medium size (200 grams)
  • Wheat Flour :- 250 grams or 2 cups
  • Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Chilly Flakes - 1/2 tsp
  • Anardana powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Chat Masala - 1/2 tsp
  • Carom seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin Seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt - to taste
  • Oil 


Method:-






  • In a big bowl grate boil potatoes.
  • Now add wheat flour, turmeric powder, coriander powder, chilly flakes, anardana powder cumin seeds ,carom seeds ,salt and chaat masala powder.
  • Mix all the ingredients to form a dough by add little water at a time.
  • Now take out a boll from the  formed dough and roll it in to puri.
  • Roll all the puris out of the dough.
  • Now heat oil in a pan.
  • Fry puris  in hot oil by flipping from both sides.
  • Your yummy allu Masala Puri is ready to serve.
  • Serve hot with pickle, raita, curd or any subji.

Dhaba Style Matar Paneer /How to Make Restaurant Style Matar Paneer /Easy and Quick Matar Paneer

Matar Paneer is very common dish prepared prepared across all over India. This recipe consists of cottage cheese cubes and green peas cooked in onion tomato gravy.




Preparation Time:- 40 minutes
servings:- 4
Ingredients:-


  • Cottage cheese - 250 grams
  • Green peas - 200 grams
  • Onion - 2 medium size
  • Tomato - 3 medium size
  • Garlic cloves - 6-8
  • Ginger - 1 1/2 inch
  • Cumin seeds- 1 tsp
  • Bay leaf - 1
  • Cinnamon stick - 1 inch
  • Black cardamom - 1
  • Green cardamom - 2
  • Cloves -2
  • Coriander powder - 1 tsp
  • Kashmiri Red chilly powder- 1tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Kasuri methi - 1 tsp
  • Garam Masala powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Green coriander leaves - 2 tbsp
  • Deshi ghee - 1tbsp
  • Oil - 4 tbsp
  • Salt - to taste


Method:-





  • In a pan add 2 tbsp of oil and shallow fry the paneer cubes till light golden.
  • Takeout paneer cubes from the pan.
  • Now in the same pan add diced onion and saute it for 2 minutes.
  • Now add garlic cloves and ginger slices and saute it for a minute.
  • Add roughly chopped tomatoes and 1/2 tsp of salt, cover the pan with lid and cook it for 2 minutes.
  • After 2 minutes open the lid ,let it cool and make a fine paste out of it.
  • In another pan heat 2 tablespoon of oil, add 1 tsp of cumin seeds.
  • At the same time add bay leaf ,cinnamon stick black and green cardamom.
  • Now add onion tomato paste and cook for 3 to 4 minutes by covering the lid.
  • Remove the lid and add frozen green peas mix well.
  • Add a glass of water, mix well cover with lid and cook for 3 - 4 minutes.
  • After 4 minutes, remove the lid, mix and add fried paneer and kasoori methi.
  • Mix well and after sometime add green coriander leaves and garam masala powder.
  • Mix well, cover with lid and cook for 2 minutes so that all the flavours mix nicely and paneer becomes soft.
  • Now the final step of this recipe that is add tadka to sabji. 
  • In a tadka pan heat 1 tbsp of deshi ghee and add 1/4 tsp of kashmiri red chilly powder and pour it over the sabji. 
  • This tadka instantly enhance the colour and flavour of the sabji to many folds.
  • Your yummy matar paneer is ready to serve.
  • Serve hot with roti, naan,  paratha, puri or rice.

Crispy Potato Suji Fingers / How to Make Crispy Potato Fingers / Party Snack Recipe

When we think of throwing a party at home first thing comes in mind is what will be the party starter or party snack, if you are also thinking the same then this recipe is perfect for you.




Preparation Time:- 30 minutes
Servings:- 4
Ingredients:-
  • Semolina or suji - 1/3 cup or 70 grams
  • Boiled Potato - 3 medium size or 250 grams
  • Green chillies - 2 (deseeded and finely chopped)
  • Green coriander leaves - 1/4 cup finely chopped
  • Salt - to taste
  • Oil - for frying


Method:-




  • First in a pan boil 1/3 cup of water, when it starts boiling add suji.
  • Mix well , turn off the flame , Cover the pan and leave it to rest for 10 minutes.
  • Mean while grate the boiled potatoes.
  • Now in a bowl mix grated potatoes, suji dough, green chillies coriander leaves and salt.
  • Mix well.
  • Add one tablespoon of oil to the mixture and knead a soft dough.
  • Now take a small ball out of dough and make cylindrical shape fingers.
  • Now Heat oil in a pan and fry the fingers till light golden brown.
  • Your yummy snack is ready.
  • Serve hot with tomato sauce.

Today I am going to share very easy and quick 5 minutes chocolate cake recipe in microwave. Yes you heard it right,  I will bake whole cake in microwave in just 5 minutes.

Its fun to bake cake in just 5 minutes so no more waiting for the cake to come out from oven.

It is my simple tried and tested recipe so if you are a beginner in baking then this is perfect recipe to start with.




Preparation time :- 20 minutes
Servings :- 6

Ingredients:-


  • 1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoon melted butter
  • 3 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice


Method:-




  • In a big bowl take milk and sugar and whisk it till sugar dissolves completely.
  • Now start adding dry ingredients.
  •  Sieve flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and baking soda.
  • Mix it with milk and sugar solution and make a smooth batter.
  • Now add butter and vanilla essence and mix well.
  • Now add lemon juice and mix it nicely.
  • Pour the batter into greased microwavable container.
  • Now microwave it for 5 minutes.
  • After 5 minutes take out the cake from microwave.
  • Let it cool down for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Decorate with chocolate syrup for extra chocolaty flavor.
  • Your yummy chocolate cake is ready to serve.
